Two times of the year to fly cheap on SW

Last night, I did a search in my Gmail for an email that somebody sent me regarding a sale going on for Southwest Airlines a couple of months ago. I found a very interesting pattern - and thought to share it in this review for everybody looking to fly cheap! Inexpensive, Safe and Recommended

Pros: Cheap, Safe, Boarding with no assigned seats Cons: Lugging bags up flights of stairs! The Bottom Line: Solid airlines - they fly a lot of places in the US - they are safe and have figured out ways to save time. I like this airlines! Had to go to San Jose California from Los Angeles and Southwest was the cheapest and had a good selection of flights (practically every hour). I am a smallish sized … more

A+: for short-haul, small-city trippers

Pros: Excellent staff, usually low-stress travel, best frequent flyer programme going Cons: Need a small aeroport and small city to make it work, I think Hideously coloured planes, no assigned seating, chintzy food service if any -- what's to like? Plenty, if your trip is from one small airport to another, and you're not flying during a peak travel period. There's the obvious, frequently-referred-to bonus of "cheap." … more
