A rare and valuable colorway to the Air Jordan 1 series.

I picked up the Retro 1's about three years ago and have kept them in top shape while still enjoying them with outfits and some casual outings.  I first noticed the pair on ebay, as they were selling for ridiculously high amounts - and when I finally found an authentic pair for myself, I understood why.

These Retro'd 1's come in a gray suede, that is unique to any other shoe in its series.  The suede doesn't take away from the detail of the original design of the shoe though - because you can clearly distinguish one series number Jordan it is at first glance.  The suede gives the shoes a flat look, that is kind of rugged - but definitely clean and smooth at the same time.

I didn't purchase these shoes in Japan, which meant that I got the shoes in a regular Jordan box that included the retro card and the Jordan keychain, but not the briefcase like the 3,000 special edition pairs sold in Japan.  Needless to say, I love them and if I found a dead stock pair in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase quickly.

Thats really cool. I have the Japan whites with the midnight blue interior from my older cousin like 5 or 6 years ago. I couldn't fit them so I put them away in storage for like 3 years along with the carmelo 1.5s zoo york blazers and jordan valid8s. unfortunately by the time i got them i couldn't fit them but so i gave them to my little brother and researched them after and found that they only released 2003 pairs im number 198 and each are now worth $400. i should have researched them first i couldve got at least 300

$5,000 per game fine for wearing the Air Jordan 1. Woah $5,000 per game that was a short and cheap investment for how much they have made since. I wish I could have got in on that!
