On the BBC, in 1989, I saw a clip from The Late Show, in which a loud-mouthed, loutish participant disrupted the discussion and stormed off the set. I did not know who this obnoxious character was until today, when I Googled the Allen family members and discovered it was Keith Allen. Pros: Good lyrics, likeable music...     Cons: Allen's small voice is lost in the jungle of instruments.     It’s not often that I loathe an album; it doesn’t happen often, but it does happen. Such is the case with Alright, Still by British rocker Lily Allen. I don’t know what made me order the CD; curiosity perhaps, or I may have heard a track from the CD. You've heard by now that the driving device of this disc  is a cheerful, pop, upbeat caribe-o-funk sound track over  which lily allen talks some snarky takes on men, love, her  little brother and a summer ride through London.     It's not a bad device, and it's perfectly in tune with the   pseudo-irony of the music-buying generation. Pros: GREAT songs, superb production, clever lyrics, catchy melodies...     Cons: ...a few songs tend to blend together, a couple of tracks fall flat     The Bottom Line: Alright, Still is such a fun album.
