This is mostly just a warning for those who have not yet opened the game or read throught the artbook. You can look through the art book when it deals with the new characters, but once it gets to returning characters you should stop. There is a clearly written spoiler involving one of the characters that was just dumb for them to include. If you don't want to spoil one of the surprises in the game, I recommend you do not read it. If you havent played the previous games and don't know who the returning characters are, then I would just recommend you to not read the book until at least halfway through the game (up to your own opinion when the halfway mark is).

I find it to be very good, but I have felt the same about all of them. I just hope new players dont get annoyed at the slow pace of the battles when you are trying to raise up points for your Reyvateils. I could see that annoying new ppl to the series.

Ah, that's good to know. I read the RPGFan review and all I could think was "this is disappointingly contrary to what I wanted to hear". I enjoy games that have a slow pace, so I guess AT3 probably won't be a letdown. :D

Honestly, none of the games have been reviewed overly high, but have been absolutely loved by the fans. I wouldnt put much stock in a review site when it comes to these games.

Yeah RPGfan has been really disappointing lately, all they do is play Iphone games and slob Bioware's knob. That reviewer sure spent a lot of time bitching about fanservice and "typical JRPG saving the world plot." Surely they could have found someone less jaded to review this game.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up on the spoilers.
