So how is the game? I found reviews that said it was a 9.5/10 game?! Coming from NISA I was a bit weary over this (it would be their highest rated game), is the game truly that good?!

You already own the game...you should just play it and form your own opinion. Reviews by fans for this game/jrpg genre will be infinitely higher than review sites. The average review for this game is around 74%, which is where it was been for all of the games in the series. If you werent against older games though i would recommend everyone to play its 2 predecessors because the 3rd game has returning characters from both games.
