A Good Starter Kit, But Not The Best

I had this rice cooker for a while and was never a huge fan. The rice always burnt and stuck to the bottom of the pot! The grains on the top were always cooked right, but I always had to soak and scrub the bottom of the pot after using it. The steaming tray is a nice feature, but fairly unnecessary, since steaming is so easy to do anyways.

I later got a Sanyo, and that always cooks the rice perfectly and never burns the bottom. It's much more expensive, as they are imported from Japan, but it's totally worth it. I have had the current Sanyo rice cooker for 7 years now and it works as good as the day I got it (and it's been through a lot).

A review of the Sanyo would be nice, since it is the one you liked better and I'm in the market for a rice cooker :) Plus anything made in Japan usually lasts longer!
