A Quick Tip by Sharrie

Generally, I do not like canned food and I steer clear of them for good. This one is an exception though. I know of the brand since it's popular in Singapore and Malaysia. It can also be found in supermarkets in Hong Kong & China. Ayam Brand is more than a hundred year old brand, founded by a French entrepreneur in Singapore in 1892! Now, canned food is great for emergencies or as a backup when you run out of food. I like to keep stock of this as I normally can finish the entire can within a day or two.

So, how to eat it? Well, I love mine with rice. Yes, just plain rice. It's exceptional good as it brings out the aroma of the rice for some reason! I have no idea why but a warm bowl of rice is all you need! Try it, you won't regret it. I think it's one of the most healthiest way of eating rice! Tuna in Olive Oil is as good. If you don't like oil, the one with mineral water may be what you're looking for. I don't find it oily at all and normally finished the entire can alone in 2 helpings! And that's a very satisfactory lunch or dinner. If you find it a little dry just eating rice and canned tuna, well, try a little bowl of clear soup like miso soup to accompany it. Awesome!
