Cute, easy to wear shoes that are an alternative to heels. Don't flatter your legs like heels do though.

I like to believe that I was responsible for starting the trend of the ballet flat in my high school. While other might thing otherwise, oh well. I was so sick of wearing those chunky black and brown shoes. They were uncomfortable and they made me way too tall. I love my height, don't get me wrong, but I don't need to be looking over everybody's heads!

The ballet flat can be worn with anything. I prefer them with jeans, shorts, mini skirts, and pants. Its hard to pull off the ballet flat with a dress, but I am not saying it's impossible. Ballet flats add a hint of cuteness and luxury into you everyday outfit. Often times they're pretty comfortable. I live in the city and when I walk around to go shopping I always have my ballet flats on.

Back to the height thing. I am 5'11 and though I love to rock the heels, I don't always want to be the size of an NBA basketball player. Ballet flats are he perfect answer to this problem. They can still be dressed up and be sexy you just won't be forty feet tall. And the risk of falling is gone! My favorite shoes are ballet flats!

Ballet flats are my shoes of choice. Not only are they incredibly cute, they're also super comfortable. No need to worry about tripping in heels or breaking them! Plus, they'll pretty much go with any outfit and are super easy to slip on and off. I would say that the only downside to them is that I can't wear them in the rain since they're low cut and slippery. Oh well.

If I could afford it, I would totally buy some Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel flats, but for now, my favorite flats come from Steve Madden, Victoria's Secret, H&M and Forever 21 :)
