Smells good!

You know how you walk into some perfume shops or lotion stores or even department stores and you almost faint because there's just too much strong smell all over the place? I think this is worse especially for people who get allergies or people with really sensitive noses.  I for one, hate those kinds of places.  Granted, they are perfume shops, but when I'm shopping for them, I don't want them sprayed in my face when I didn't even ask for them! It just stresses me out.

Well, I'm happy to report that although Bath & Body is a shop full of scenty flavorful body lotion goods, it does NOT take over your nostrils and make you light headed.  Instead, it just smells good in there. It's kind of refreshing actually.

This is a great place to get "generic" gifts or stocking stuffers.. for people you don't know too well or if you cant think of exactly what to get them.  I use to be obsessed with the stuff but I've moved on to just using St Ives & the Vaseline hand lotion instead of as much of the fragrancy lotions.

Basically, you can find any lotion type product in any smell under the sun. To be honest, it's a bit overwhelming when you first walk in and in any one scene, they have a regular lotion, a creamy lotion, a silky lotion, a foot lotion, a shower gel, a room spray...you get the idea. However, it is kinda fun smelling the scents, and once you figure out which ones smell good, you can either choose one of each product or stick to one scene and buy a variety of products for a gift basket!

Although I'm not the most supporting Bath & Body shopper anymore, the thing I do still love about them is their scented room plugs.. I had two of the apple scented ones in college (one in the bathroom and one in my room) and it made the entire upstairs - if not the entire apartment - smell like an apple orchid!! DELISH! It seriously smells like I'm biting into an apple (.. if that even makes any sense)

I think they've expanded to include lots of other more high end beauty regime products such as Peter Thomas Roth and Molton Brown - which I actually do look at when I go in there.

The one thing that I will probably buy more of is the Silk Body Lotion - I only use it for my hands once in a while but no joke - it leaves my hands SILKY SMOOTH... you can seriously tell the difference... and it's huge.

You can't really go wrong with going into this place when there is one near by.  It's even better when they're having their huge bin sales, $3 for the large bottle of lotion.  That's about the same price you pay at Target (even less actually) for the non fragrancy stuff, so it's definitely a steal to pick up a couple of those!
