Unobtrusive and easy to install

I've only been using this software for a month. I'm running the beta of Windows 7 as well as XP and keeping both up to date. Microsoft has built a lot of security into the newest OS but I much prefer the way that Bitdefender has set this software up. The first scan ran for hours. I expected that. Since then it doesn't seem to slow the system down at all the way that some security software does. It's also designed well. It's neither too complicated nor too dumb. Great Security Suite!!!

'Bitdefender Total Security 2010' is a great solution for adding security and peace of mind to your computer and all who use said machine(s). There are lots of security options out there, so why should you go the Bitdefender route? First of all, with this option, you get not 1, but 2 years of protection. Excellent program, thus far...that didn't last long

Have had this program for a short time but, unlike a previous 'security' program I reviewed, this one didn't make my computer want to commit suicide. I uninstalled avast, as per instructions, installed bitdefender via CD, restarted computer, entered serial number, installation options were easy to navigate through and select, and the program itself searched for updates, updated itself, registered itself (I did have to create an account) and did a quick scan of my system.
