Happy Holidays! Enjoy this yummy recipe with your loved ones this holiday season.
Prep: 25 minutes Bake: 25 minutes Oven: 350 degrees F
2 cups packed brown sugar 2/3 cup butter or margarine 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 1 6-ounce package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces *I substitute butterscotch chips for 1/2 of the chocolate chips and mix them together* 1 cup chopped nuts
1. Grease a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; set aside. In a medium saucepan heat brown sugar and butter over medium heat until sugar dissolves, stirring constantly. Cool slightly. Stir in eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder, and baking soda. 2. Spread batter in prepared baking pan. Sprinkle with chocolate, butterscotch, and nuts. *I prefer to add some of the chips to the mixture as well* Bake in a 350 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Cool slightly and cut into bars while still warm. Makes 36 bars.

I've never had a blondie before, but all those ingredients look like a winning combination, plus they look simple to make. Thanks for sharing! :)
