In my latest shopping spree, I bought a crew-neck cable-knit sweater from J. Crew (I actually got it on sale for $49.99 - retail price is $74.00). As I mentioned in an earlier review, you have to be careful about picking out colors from their website. I go by this rule - if it's on their website, then it's about 1 to 2 shades darker in person. That's how I went out about purchasing their "Heather Dusk" color - online it's like a light, feathery grey... in person, it's just gray. But I love medium shades of grey... so I bought the "Heather Dusk".

Yesterday, I wore my new Cambridge cable crewneck sweater out (it was warm in New York!) with pearl stud earrings, my straight-legged jeans and a Burberry inspired Nova Check plaid headband that I bought from AmericanChic.net (haven't reviewed that yet). I was preppy chic to the tenth power!
