Although purists may say that key tunes were left off of this helping of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Chronicle, Vol. 1," most casual fans will be well pleased with purchasing this album. If you want a quick smattering of this all time great band, grab this record at once! Almost all of these songs are true classics. I started with this one and was so impressed that I collected all their original recordings. The music is a good blend of Americana music at its best between the late sixties and early seventies. I prefer the eleven minute version of "Grapevine" from Cosmos Factory and don't care for Hey Tonight too much but otherwise this is as close to perfect as you can get.
