CollegeFashionista.com is a fashion social networking site for those who are passionate about the latest styles and trends on college campuses. This Web site allows students to view what their peers are wearing around campus and gain valuable insight and tips for their own wardrobe.

Creator Amy Levin has had a lot of exposure to the concept of street fashion.  In her time abroad in London and summers interning in Los Angeles, she saw how the sidewalk was quickly being transformed into the latest version of the runway.  The new age models were real individuals with a unique voice and perspective on style.

Each day follows a different format and topic on which the Gurus will be writing about.  Monday is style advice- a new tip to incorporate into your wardrobe to start off your week with style.  Tuesday and Thursday the Gurus will be posting corresponding pictures and trends they saw being carried out by Fashionistas on their respective campuses.  Wednesday is all about fashion news happening in the industry that effect the college student.  And, just in time for the weekend, Friday offers up a weekend forecast on what to wear to events happening across campus.

What makes fashion so exciting is the unique perspectives that each person possesses. The Gurus make fashion accessible by adapting to those restrictions and appreciating the four years one has in their life to really experiment and play with style. The Web site is unique in the fact that it is written by multiple different people, with a spectrum of fashion views, all attending universities across the world.  However, at the heart of it, most students experience the same constraints that come with college life.  Just because you attend a one university doesn’t mean you are limited to the fashion pulse of your school; CollegeFashionista.com connects students to the trends popping up on campuses around the world by creating an authoritative source for all “College Fashionistas.”
