Quit Screwing Around With Those Cheaply Screwdriver & Hex Bit Sets Get Caftsman 12pc set

If you are a Craftsman fanatic such as the case with me, then you will love this little set of ¼" drive socket bits found as Sears or K-Mart for only $9.99. You used to be only able to find these at any Sears but since they have merged with a whole bunch of different store such as K-Mart and Ace Hardware the availability is tremendous. The prices and warranty still remain the same. If you were to purchase any Craftsman product at any of these retailers, you will not need a receipt just take it back to the store and they will replace the product.

Description
This set includes 2 Phillips screwdriver bits (1,2), 2 screwdriver bits (5-6,6-8), 3 Torx bits sockets (T15, T20, T25), 5 hex bit sockets (3/16, 7/32, ¼, 5/16, 3/8) and a plastic storage pouch. These bits-sockets are ¼" drive sockets and will fit on all ¼" drive ratchets and made of chrome plated mild steel to prevent rusting. Each of these sockets are shiny and have the size stamped on the side, each of the screwdriver and hex bits are a black in color.

Experience
This is an excellent set to keep inside of the kitchen drawer or the glove box of the car for emergencies. All of these together weigh less than one pound, but the plastic case has a lot to be desired. There is no room inside of the case for an extension or ratchet. That is the only problem with this set but problem can be solved by using a pencil case from the year before from your daughters schools supplies since they give her a new one every year.

I have been using these for several years and not one time did these ever break or strip. They are made of hardened steel and are very durable. I have left these under the hood of the car accidentally and started the engine up and heard a rattling around, when I found them they barely had a scratch on them from hitting the fan blade. If you are using the right size these will usually fit snuggly into the hex or screwdriver slot without any slop.

The really nice thing about this set is that they do include the TORX bits, you very rarely use these but when you happen onto one of these types of heads you are happy that you have one of these bits inside of your set. These are probably the most used part of my tools because they are so handy. A lot of times I do not have time to go through all of my full size screwdriver drawer looking for the exact size, instead I just grab this little pouch which has an assortment of different sizes and shaped of bits and as long as I have remembered to put an extension and ratchet inside of the case then I have everything to make a repair.
Conclusion
This is not a bad price for a set as versatile as this one. You will be surprised at how much you will actually use this set. Just because it is so easy to grab this instead of searching for the right screwdriver and making sure that you do not have to go back and search again if you are wrong. Five stars for durability and versatility and ease of use.
