I love Craftsman tools and since I do, I try and teach and show my children how to get the most for their money. You will not only get quality, you will durability. This Craftsman Wrench holder can be found at Sears, K-Mart, and even Ace Hardware for only $6.99. Along time ago, you used to be only able to find these at Sears but, since then, they have merged with a whole bunch of different stores, such as K-Mart and Ace Hardware the availability is tremendous. The prices and warranty still remain the same no matter which store that you go to. If you were to purchase any Craftsman product at any of these retailers, you will not need a receipt, just take it back to the store and they will replace the product.

Description
This does not weigh very much, only about ½ a pound and is just over 12" at the top and 6" at the bottom. This starts out small to hold the shorter wrenches and tapers all the way to the top to hold the larger wrenches. There is slots or cut outs to hold 12 wrenches, this will also fit in a 3" drawer better than the shorter drawers. The reason that this will have trouble with fitting inside of the shorter drawers is because it is 1-3/4" in height and when you put a wrench inside of the slot the larger wrenches will stand taller than the shorter drawers. This does have a handle but is not made to be carried around. The wrenches do not snap into place, they just sit in there slots and will fall out if not put into a drawer or mounted to a wall.

Experience
This is an excellent tool holder to keep inside of your deeper drawers. This holder all together weigh less than one pound, and is made plastic case so you do not have to worry about it rusting. There is enough room inside of the holder to hold either metric or standard wrenches. There is the only one problem with this holder, but this little problem can be easily solved. The main problem is that if you do not put something underneath the holder then it will slide all over the place when opening and closing the drawers.

As long as you mount this to the inside of the drawer or on a wall it will last a lot longer and not give you any problems. I have been using these for several years and not one time since I put Velcro on the bottom of the holder, did these ever break or slip inside of the drawer. They are made of a very durable plastic. I have used these with a several years and have knocked them around a little bit. I have left these under the hood of the car, kicked them around and even ran them over accidentally and saw that they can only withstand this once or twice but I would not push my luck when it comes to this kind of abuse. If you stack right size wrenches inside of the grooves these will usually fit snuggly at first, there little extra angle on each of the holder slots, that will allow the wrench to sit and stay in place to prevent them from falling out.

The really nice thing about this is that it is made of plastic , and you may very rarely have to remove the whole rack out of their tool box. These wrenches are probably the most used part of my tools and because they are so handy I like to keep them in a neat line. A lot of times I do not have time to go through all of my wrenches, and also because my eyes are getting bad and the sizes are hard to read, so that is why it is nice to have them in a neat line and as long as I have remembered to put wrenches in the right slot inside of the holder, then I will have the correct wrench in line to make a repair without having to search for the right wrench.

Conclusion
This is not a bad price $6.99 for a holder as versatile as this one. You will be surprised at how much you will actually use this set. Just because it is so easy to grab the correct wrench instead of searching all over the bottom of the drawer for the right wrench, if you have them 9 times out of 10 times that you grab the wrench it will be the proper one. As long as you know your wrench sizes, this also makes your job a lot easier by making sure that you do not have to go back and search again if you are wrong. This is one tool that is a normal fixture inside of a lot of mechanics tool boxes, that like to keep some kind of organization inside of their boxes. I would highly recommend that you add this to you repertoire of tools, especially if you want to have a easier go of your job, and some kind of neatness to all of the tools inside of your drawers. Five stars for durability and versatility and ease of use.
