There are some days when the temperature requires a little extra layering, especially in the climatically unpredictable days of Spring. Hooded sweatshirts or "hoodies" are something that I think should be lift behind in our gym lockers from high school. The strings at the neck, the bulk of the hood, it just adds too much extra mass. One of my obsessions this spring is a refined crew neck sweatshirt. Basically the neckline is round and hits just at the collarbone. Sure my mom probably has a few of these with snowmen or jack-o-lanterns printed on them but more and more reputable young women's fashion leaders, like Urban Outfitters and Forever 21, have been showing the crew neck. I even found a College Fashionista strutting her stuff in a lace-embellished crew neck sweatshirt. Tshirts even come in the cool crew style, try this one from Urban.
