The third offering from The New York Dolls 2.0 is a 60's throwback.

Dancing Backward in High Heels is the third album from The New York Dolls ver. 2,0 and it's a throwback to the yesteryear of Shangri-La/ The Coasters style of rock n' roll. The lush production and smokey vocals of David Johansen takes us back to the days of R &B rock. The New York Dolls were heavily influenced by the Shangri-Las, Bo Diddly and The Coasters and this album is a tribute of sorts to them.
