Initially, I really liked this book. It's full of his own experiences with a more aged, sarcastic hindsight re-telling. Now I have mixed feelings but I'm still under the impression that I liked it. I'm not sure that this is one of those stories you read twice, but it certainly was worth the first read. Sedaris might use a bit too much sarcasm, but certainly he has a quick wit that shines through in his literature. The topics he touches on are things anyone can relate to, even if in a small …

It was a funny book but I felt like every story ended on a down note. It was kind of depressing.
