Line of skin care, cosmetics, perfume and hair care products
My friend Annemarie gives me samples she earns through the Sephora points system. Due to my miserly Scrooge McDuck relationship with my wallet, my own Sephora points will take a great while to accumulate to earn anything noteworthy, so I use Annemarie’s cast-offs and decided to start reviewing them.

Product: Euphoria by Calvin Klein
Type: Perfume/Fragrance
Packaging: For the sampler booklet, it’s a picture of a gorgeous model looking like she was caught as she was about to disrobe and go bathing in some sparkling, nymph infested lake. She does not look particularly euphoric and I feel Tyra would have called her out on not fulfilling her assigned emotion. Inside the booklet there is a picture of the bottle (which I dig and I find it does inspire the desire to purchase) and a list of the aroma you are intended to smell.
Name: Euphoria is a nice name, if a little exaggerated (but in the world of perfume, I think exaggerated is par for the course.)
Odor: It’s strong, deep and kind of sexy. The combination of orchid, bergamot, and sandalwood is very successful. Orchid keeps it light and fresh smelling, bergamot adds sweetness and sandalwood layers the fragrance with depth and makes it more of an evening scent than a day perfume. Even earned the Boyfriend Seal of Approval.
Application: A light spritz goes a long way, and for the sensitive types like myself, I suggest using this on the neck, hair or a dab on the side of the breast – just away from your sinuses and hands (which will invariably get near to your sinuses.)

Verdict: A keeper! I’m looking forward to wearing this out one evening soon. I’ll be sad when this sample empties out, so I’m going to definitely consider this perfume as a future purchase.
