I was opposed to it at first. After all, the playoff and Wild Card system they were using already did enough to exclude and include just enough teams to incite teams to play their very best in August and September, but after some reconsideration, I'll be indifferent to it until I see how it works out.
What I won't deny, though, is the fact that it's definitely a money thing. And I'm certainly not changing my opinion of Selig being a grade-A moron.

This will obviously go the same way as the other playoffs. At some point the argument will be made that it is "unfair to have a one game playoff when the others are seven games." The divisional playoffs were at first five games but were expanded to seven.
