This story is scary! I still get nervous when thinking about the murders taking place. The killers were cold blooded and planned their crimes with skill. It seemed as if the victims, who were young women with blond hair, didn't have a chance.
When Lucas Davenport and his team from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension make their appearance I thought that they would make quick work of finding the killers but the killers were too skilled and evaded capture.
Although I've never dealt with murders, this story seemed very read, as if it were taked out of a real life file of serial killers.
The setting was also well described and I thought it was terrific how two teenage lovers made the discovery of an area that came to be known as the Black Hole. This was an area where the killers dumped many bodies of their victims.
