My daughter is dressed mostly in 'freecycled' clothing from relatives, there is so much to go around I can't even imagine throwing it away, what a huge waste. Craigslist is great for this purpose, I've given away a lot of things we don't need there - stuff you couldn't really sell.

What is exactly is freecycling? It is when someone gives away an unwanted item, for free, to another person. That item could be anything from tools to appliances.
