Blues At Its Best

If you are looking for a modern recording of old blues standards, look no further. Eric Clapton covers sixteen old time blues numbers and adds a special flair that is pure magic. Many of the solos are just stunning most notably Five Long Years, Groaning, and Sometimes After A While. If half stars were allowed, I would rate this four and a half. Not quite a five because....after a while the blues can be a bit redundant. However, this is a fine sampling of many variations of the blues style which is suitable for most people's record collections.
