I was really impressed when this razor arrived. I loved that it came with a replacement head and that it had a storage rack with suction cups, so it could be placed out of the reach of children. The razor itself had a great "soft" grip and a nice wide moisture strip. But...    ... the Cons --    The wide "face" on this razor kept it from delivering a close shave even though there were 5 blades. When I used it on my legs I found that it didn't get REALLY close, …

When Gillette released the Fusion 5 blade razor for men years ago they revolutionized shaving yet again. Changing the angles of the blades and adding 2 extra, it seemed slightly ridiculous, what was next 15 blades? But upon using the 5 blade wonder from Gillette I quickly found that the hype was worthwhile and the end result was the greatest shave I had ever gotten. Smoother, quicker, and with less irritation then I ever had before. I tried going back to the Mach 3 but it was impossible, the stakes …

I'm not that impressed with this razor. I am one of those people that can go about a week in between shavings. My hair on my legs doesn't grow fast and when it does it's not that coarse. After using this razor several times the results were that I always felt or could see hair the next day or two days later. That leads me to believe that with 5 blades, it's still not a close shave.      I also felt the razor head was surrounded on all four sides with way too much …

This is a great razor I have ever used and is well worth the price. The handle design is just right, the pivoting head is designed to glide over your skin. It's so light, it's hard to get nicks and cuts with this. The 5 blades that literally glides over your skin. I had been using three. The handle is made of a gel material that allows it to stay in your hand even when wet. I reviewed another brand a few years ago and one thing the company forgot about is what happens when the plastic gets wet... …

I didn't really expect to be impress we with yet another razor that is out, it seems they churn them up faster and faster these days, but I was nicely surprised when it turned out to be really good. Usually I like sharp, sturdy ones but this was light and felt very delicate, it glided across my skin and hardly needed me to go over an area more than once.    I liked that my skin was not irritated after and felt smoother than usual on the 2nd day. Usually hair grows back by then …

The Venus Embrace Razor promises a "smooth glide" and they definitely did not oversell on that point. I could not believe the difference between my regular disposable razor and this one in terms of how smooth the Embrace felt while shaving. In fact, I couldn't tell if it was doing anything--which felt weird at first because, with my regular razor, I can clearly tell that it is. Even stranger was that, while I couldn't FEEL that I was shaving with the Embrace, I had razor burn when I put on my deodorant …

The Venus Embrace razor claims that it will hug your curves and give you a smooth shave, and that is exactly the truth. You can shave with this, in the shower in poor light, and not miss a hair. The adjusting head makes shaving significantly quicker and easier, with less contortionist antics required.   The scrapes, nicks, and stubble left by old style razors are a thing of the past.  The case hangs in your shower and holds both the razor and extra blade cartridges, so it's handy …

Despite its odd shape--large head to accomodate 5 blades and a rather bulbous handle--the Venus Embrace razor worked remarkably well. Though it did seem to make some sort of odd noise as it glided along my legs, it left me with a much smoother shave than any razor I've used in quite some time. It also came with a replacement head and a suction holder for the shower. I'm very pleased with this product and will continue to use it!

One thing I hate taking the time to do is shave my legs; it seems to take forever and I'm prone to nicks. But this razor is the best I've used by far to date. It fits well in the hand, is very lightweight, and gives a close, easy shave. It seems to glide over the skin with a large head which makes shaving time that much less. My legs don't feel dry and scratchy afterward but silky and smooth. I love the holder, which can be hung inside the shower, and in which fresh blades can be stored until needed. …
