Gillette Foamy Shave Cream - Giving that close clean shave to keep the ladies hands on your face.

I'm not sure if it's just my face or whatever. But when it comes down to shaving, foams are the way to go for me. I cannot use a gel for any reason. My shaves are never close enough, and I get bad razor burn and irritations.

Along with Barbasol, Gillette is among my most used foam shaving cremes. The creme squirts out fairly easy, and this is based upon how much pressure you use on the button. You can use a small bit at a time, massage it between your palms, and the cream applies nicely to the face. Of course, the amount of creme used is all based upon how thick your beard may be. I also use it to shave my chest, and at one time, I was shaving my head back in the days with great results for both. The creme can also be played with, and you can gather up the excess, and re-apply it again to stretch it out.

I really enjoy the thickness of this cream and in combination with very warm water, it delivers a very close shave. I have used the creme with regular blades, like the single and twin blades many moons ago, and the results were pretty good. But with the triple bladed Mach 3 Turbo blades, I get the best shaves every time, and they glide through the creme with ease. I rarely suffer from cuts and there's little to no irritation. In fact, the only time I suffer from some type of irritation is when I tried to get greedy, and squeeze out a few more uses from my blades which was totally uncalled for.

The shaving creme has a nice, soap-like fragrance that I really like, and it does linger for a little while, but it does fade rather quickly to a strong scented aftershave. It also leaves my skin feeling very smooth, and I don't recall it drying my skin. More than likely though, it's maybe because I don't even give it a chance to find out. The can contains caution information explaining not to place it in hot water or near radiators. As well as small, pictured directions on how to apply the creme.

This is a great creme for me, and it lasts for a long time too. I recommend it to those who are uncomfortable with what they're using right now. The creme is also at a pretty good price, which is between the $2 - $3 area from what I remember. Normally, I don't look at prices when it comes to something I consider to be really good, and I usually buy several cans at a time anyway.

I recommend keeping the bottom of the can dry at all times. If you're the type of person who likes to leave your shaving creme on the sink, be aware that the can will rust at the bottom, and this will mess up the finish on your sink.

Pros:
-Assist in a very close shave
-Little to no irritation

Cons:
-Can will rust in the bottom and stain your sink.
