Google has announced that it is killing off Google Reader, its RSS aggregator that let people subscribe to news feeds from different websites, on 1st July 2013.Reader debuted in 2005 as a Google Labs, before emerging as its own product in 2007. The annual South by Southwest (SXSW) conference held in Austin, US, Google showed off an tech product a pair of talking shoes. The tech was built onto the tongue of an Adidas sneaker, and contains an accelerometer, gyroscope, pressure sensor, Bluetooth and a speaker. Google has now addressed that little problem with the introduction of a preview function that works with more than 30 different file types. Click on the file you want to preview, select "preview" and the preview window will open. Once it's open, you can just browse through your files using the arrow buttons on both sides of the screen. A new report at 9to5Google claims that Google plans to open numerous retail stores by the end of this year. Reportedly, Google plans to use these stores to sell Nexus devices, Chrome OS devices and Google Glass, giving potential customers a chance to see and use their products prior to purchase. Google has recently announced plans to upgrade Adwords "by rolling out enhanced campaigns." Under this new system, the enhanced ad campaigns will run on both desktops and mobile. Depicting a new notebook called the Chromebook Pixel. The video shows a Chromebook with a 2560 x 1700 pixels resolution, touchscreen display. The leaked video suggested that it was made by a company called Slinky. me, whose CEO then denied responsibility for the leak by saying his company's servers have been hacked. Upgrades to Apple's iOS 6 operating system increased by 29 per cent this weekend following the availability of Google Maps, it has been claimed. Adoption of iOS 6 increased by around 13 per cent last week but there was a bigger increase at the weekend, says mobile advertising service MoPub. Apple has made the Google Maps available for download on its App Store. The file size is stated to be 6.7MB and is optimized for the Apple iPhone 5.
