Gordon Biersch Czech Style Pilsner -- I think the geography is off just a bit
How does it look? How's the color? Clarity? Head? Light gold, crystal clear, light head How's the nose (smell)? Sweet, spicy, fruity? The bottle says it is a Czech style pilsner and that it is "crisp robustly hopped", the scent is subtle but it does lean towards the hoppy. How does it taste? Malty? Hoppy? Fruity? Chalky? The first taste is almost what I call the cakey spiciness of a heffeweissen but that settles down pretty quickly to a nice hoppy bitter that then fades …
