To the Congress:

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpRw8OEB-AI/AAAAAAAAVTM/it1DjKGDAMA/s1600-h/090725-bnk-1.jpgThe USPS. (Postal Service) was established in 1775 - you have had 234 years to get it right; it is broke.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpRy43dx-YI/AAAAAAAAVTk/QmzsGBlEG4E/s1600-h/090825-lbj.jpgThe "War on Poverty" started in 1964 - you have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor"; it hasn't worked and our entire country is broke.

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpRzbpk1_SI/AAAAAAAAVTs/FV7DK4LW-FE/s1600-h/090825-medicare.jpgMedicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 - you've had 44 years to get it right; they are broke.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpRztU-4oYI/AAAAAAAAVT0/QarPc5j83vM/s1600-h/090825-freddie.jpgFreddie Mac was established in 1970 - you have had 39 years to get it right; it is broke.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpR0l-jGGzI/AAAAAAAAVT8/YmmMfSZiGJE/s1600-h/090825-geithner.jpgTrillions of dollars were spent in the massive political payoffs called TARP, the "Stimulus", the Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009... none show any signs of working, although ACORN appears to have found a new b***h: the American taxpayer.

And finally, to set a new record:

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpR__SAVRxI/AAAAAAAAVUU/1_bZjeT58Gw/s1600-h/090825-cash.jpg"Cash for Clunkers" was established in 2009 and went broke in 2009! It took good dependable cars (that were the best some people could afford) and replaced them with high-priced and less-affordable cars, mostly Japanese. A good percentage of the profits went out of the country. And the American taxpayers take the hit for Congress' generosity in burning three billion more of our dollars on failed experiments.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_orkXxp0bhEA/SpR2Pmv6lyI/AAAAAAAAVUM/sPYnBzD490U/s1600-h/090825-o-p-r.jpgSo with a perfect 100% failure rate and a record that proves that "services" you shove down our throats are failing faster and faster, you want Americans to believe you can be trusted with a government-run health care system?

20% of our entire economy?

With all due respect,

Are you crazy?

The Postal Servie was doing just fine until something very suspicious started toward the end of the 80s. You could get a letter overseas and have a response within 10 days with no problem. Now you're lucky if you can get it across town in that period of time. It was in the late 80s that it began to look me as if they were slowly engineering a failure so that when they brought in absolute computerization it would look good by comparison. This turns out to exactly what happened, Unfortunately the computerized service has failed so miserably that even the old planned failure looks good in comparison. Death to the computer! All it has done is take away jobs. I can't speak to the other examples however. But I can say what I observed for 25 years at the Postal Service, and believe me you wouldn't believe me!

You are right on point my friend. I think we should be taking a look at some form of catastrophic health insurance. Beyond that, what these people are proposing is extremely dangerous and the way they are going about it is clearly unconsititutional. Too bad we no longer have a vigilant press in this country. There is so much scandal and so many potential Pulitzer Prizes out there right now!

Thanks, Drifter. Orwell was trying to warn us, but no one listens anymore. 1984 is just science fiction to most. Big government is already way too far into our private lives. This would practically finish us off. Most of the media are already strictly Obamabots because that's the PC thing to do.

Hey John, the pictures aren't showing up :( Have you tried the insert/edit image icon? When you click on it, it has an area to paste the picture's URL into and then, submit it. Once the picture's in the review, you can physically edit it to the size you want. If you need any help, let me know!

The pictures all show up when I look at the review. Not sure what's wrong, but I can see all of the pics

What operating system are you on? Maybe it's because I'm on Firefox?
October 16, 2009
I'm on Firefox, too. I have called up the review every way I can think of, and the pictures always come up. I'm sorry, Samantha. I don't know what to tell you.

I'm on internet explorer 8 and I can't see it either...nice one though. Thanks for this, Ukedude.

I want to see the pictures, too! I'm sure one of the tech folks would know what's going on... I know that we're asking a lot of questions, but could you tell us how you put the pictures into the review? Did you use the insert image icon in the rich text editor, or did you copy and paste them into your review? Any information that you could provide us would be really helpful. We'd love to see your images up and running in your review! :)
October 16, 2009
I cut and pasted them. I'm sorry. I can see the pictures clearly every time I call up the review. It takes a minute for them to load, but they are there. I don't understand why you can't see them

I go completely out of Lunch, come back and go to this review, and the pictures load as I go down the page. Why can I see the pics and you guys can't?
October 16, 2009
Thanks, Woopak. I definitely want the health care system overhauled and more stringent guidelines for the commercial insurance companies, but I don't want Uncle Sugar controlling health care the way they control all the other programs I listed. Not with our government's success rate so far!!!!
October 16, 2009
No worries, John. I've let the tech team know and they'll do what they can! Thanks for answering all of our questions.

I put feedback into Lunch about it, so hopefully the problem will be resolved soon! I'm no longer there to double check things but, Devora is really good at getting things handled, so I'm sure there won't be too much of a hold up!
