Greyhound Lines, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas, is an intercity common carrier of passengers by bus serving over 3,700 destinations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, operating under the well-known logo of a leaping greyhound.

It was founded in Hibbing, Minnesota, USA, in 1914 and incorporated as "Greyhound Corporation" in 1929. Today, it is headquartered at 350 North St. Paul Street in Downtown Dallas, Texas, and under the ownership of British transport firm FirstGroup, which operates Greyhound as an independent subsidiary, and a division of FirstGroup America.

I had a pretty weak experience with the Greyhound last weekend. Sure, everybody I asked said to avoid using  them - but I had to try at least once before I knew for sure that there were better ways to visit my girlfriend in San Diego.  Normally, I would drive - but with gas prices right now, I've  been looking for better ways to get down there from LA.       Anyways, Greyhound.
