Gundam Fillibuster is more like it

When the anime boom hit in the late 90s, this was the first series to get major airtime on cable and it proved to be a hit and bring more Gundam shows over from Japan. Alternate continuity Gundam tale about guerilla warfare on Earth with 5 young pilots of industructable robot suits. Full of speeches and war efforts to make the show more intellectually refined then it is and it can feel long and drawn out.
