Why, why does something so good have to have such dire consequences the next day? As someone who enjoys "life" a little more than others, I wonder why my body has not developed some sort of tolerance towards alcohol to where I don't suffer from hangovers the next day. But hangovers don't stop me from enjoying a good drink or four now and then.

Everyone has a different kind of hangover. Some people wake up, feel nauseous, and then throw up. Others just have a headache and need some water and food to recover. Whatever your type, hangovers aren't fun at all.

Personally, I would give hangovers a -5 because they really do suck. You feel like crap, your head hurts, and all you want to do is sleep, drink water, or bring up anything that's left in your stomach.

But you know what? If you're suffering from a hangover, it's likely you had a pretty good time the night before. I mean, why else would you have drank to the point where you're suffering the next day? I guess for all the good times you had before, there has to be some balancing out the next day.

So for the simple fact that you have a hangover, there must have been at least one bit of "it was worth it." And for that, I'll bump up hangovers to a -4.
