Harriet is a child who in her spare time likes spying on a range of people, such as an old man who owns lots of cats, trying not to get done by the health inspector and a man who delivers food for a Chinese restaurant, she writes all her finding in her journal/book, she writes about everyone and everything in her book. As much as I enjoyed them as a kid, looking back I realize that they're not amazing literature. Still really fun though.
