Great value for a non-salon product

---- This review is being done by my WIFE---- (My hair is already straight!) My hair is medium length, colored, and semi-straight. Until now, I have been using a professional grade straightener for the last two years. Works like a charm

At first I wasn't expecting too much considering the price range but I was pleasantly surprised to see that the results weren't reflected in the price. I must add that on days when I use this I wash and condition with appropriate shampoo, I love the ones from GHD and when I use a heat spray ( Tresseme) the hair is really supermodel straight and stays that way all day. A little gimmicky, but does a straight up job of straightening

I always meant to buy an expensive straightener "one of these days," but I've been creaking along on a Conair straightener i got several years ago that worked fine for my thick, wavy, and long hair. The Wahl Pro Straightener is similar to the Conair, but with improvements in design and quality. Good Iron, Useless Attachments

I was planning on giving 3 stars to this straightener, but my hair really did look great after using it, so it does deserve 4 stars. I've used many of the higher end straighteners ($100 and up) over the years - Solano Sapphire, CHI, FHI, GHD, etc.) - and I was impressed that a cheaper straightener worked just as well, if not better, than my favorite CHI iron. The proof is in the results!

I received this today and was excited to try it out. First let me say that I have naturally curly hair. When I was younger I absolutely hated it, but as I've grown older I've learned to love it. Even with that I've always been interested in experimenting with straight hair on a temporary basis. Product is more effective w/o comb and strip

I try to be scientific when I test a product. For this straightener, I used it on half of my head with the comb/conditioning ribbon and on the other half with that attachment removed. Background: My hair is medium texture, wavy and shoulder length and color treated. It was newly washed and there was mousse at the roots and leave in conditioner on the ends.
