I ran across this band back in the days when I was a devote member of Columbia House. I'd get those little stamps every so often in the mail and pick somewhere around twelve albums I wanted to check out, mail it back, and wah lah, in about two weeks a box of music would arrive at my doorstep...that always made my day.

I hadn't even heard of (hed) p.e. until I saw their little sticker from Columbia House, and read a bit about the type of music they played. I decided to give them a shot, and I ended up surprised. I didn't really care for their music when I first put them in my cd player, to be honest. They are brutally blunt with their lyrics and a bit disturbing too. Something made me keep that cd in my radio though, and every now and again, the shuffler would land on their disc, and as time went on, the more I heard them, the more I warmed up to their unique style and attitude.

If I had to compare the band to any others out there, I'd say they resemble Sublime, Limp Bizkit, or possibly even Rage Against The Machine. They were part of the Family Values tour with Korn, Static-X, and System of a Down. I bet that was a great show...
