I cannot stop watching this...

I know I'm not the only one but what is the attraction to this show we all have? Sometimes I get so frustrated with these people that I want to either show up on their doorstep and say "get a grip" or I want to give them a hug and say "It will be ok." The shows I absolutely will not watch are the ones with animal hoarders. (There's a show specifically for this - some I'm not sure why Hoarders would have this.)
