The community at Holly Beach was literally wiped off of the coast by Hurricane Rita back in 2005, but it is slowly making a comeback. The beach, lovingly dubbed the Cajun Riviera, features great coastal fishing, plenty of places to take in a little sun, all sorts of wildlife, and is just minutes from the Sabine National Wildlife Refuge, cities like Lake Charles and Sulphur, LA, and even the great state of Texas.
