I got stuck in the Amsterdam airport for 24 hours due to Weather conditions.. I could have used an answer to this question..so I am asking for future carry-on bag packing. What would you consider needed for a stuck-in situation if it ever occurs again?

I always have at least two books and a crossword puzzle book. I have been in the Amsterdam airport on layovers several times. I remember they had a casino which a few times I played Blackjack at. As each time I lost my allotment rather fast, I was still able to kill about an hour each time.

WiFi and either a smart phone, iPod Touch, iPad or laptop with chargers, the newest issue of your fave mag, if you have a friend with you- card games, a big and entertaining enough book to get lost in, and of course, snacks!
