I Am America (And So Can You)

Before reviewing, I want to get it out in the open that I am a hardcore Colbert Report fan... so I may be a little biased. ;) I Am America (And So Can You!) is a hilarious book. You cannot go into this book hoping to take it seriously; you have to start reading it with the intent of laughing. A Brilliant Satire

I love Stephen Colbert. I've watched almost every episode of The Colbert Report since it premiered a few years ago. For anyone who enjoys his show, his book, I Am America (And So Can You!), is a must-read. It's more of Colbert’s satirical sense of humor, so intentionally over-the-top ridiculous that it's hard not to laugh at it. A Quick Tip by Esoteric

It's a pretty good read, but to be honest, if you love Colbert's comedic style the audio book is just better. The timing and tone is what makes the humor so on spot, and it just doesn't translate well in this book.
