My son has amassed quite a collection of Fisher-Price Imaginext DC Super Friends toys. Thanks in part to the facts that I'm both a huge comic book nerd and a fan of Batman, I have to admit that I'm partially responsible for his large collection. One of his latest additions to his Imaginext catalog is the Batwing. It's a rather simple toy that gives a child just enough "gee-whiz" to start with and then it lets their imagination take over.
The Batwing is fitted with an opening cockpit that seats the included Batman figure, as well as most all of the other Imaginext figures, including the Joker (because the Joker often steals the Batwing at our house). It also has three firing discs that shoot from under the cockpit. Also, a trigger on the back of the Batwing pushes the orange engines back and forth, but this particular feature didn't hold my sons interest.
The included Batman figure is clad in black with a protective visor and a blue cape. Both he and the Batwing can be played with as part of any other Imaginext toy line out there. My son particularly enjoys using the Batwing to keep the bad guys out of the Batcave and even goes cross-promotional with it when Captain America or Iron Man needs backup!
Recommended to anyone with a comics-crazy kid or a father who is even more comics crazy.

Hahaha, your last line reminds me of every time I take a kid to an aquarium or museum. The kids might get a kick out of it, but I somehow end up enjoying it more! :x Nice review, K!
