fictional comic book character
My wife and I got my son the Fisher-Price Imaginext Batcave for his birthday, and decided to throw in a villain for the Bat to tackle as well. While our son was looking through all of the availalble bad guys at the store, he kept on liking Mr. Freeze.
Once we decided that Mr. Freeze was the villain he wanted, my wife shuffled our son and daughter to another part of the store while I took both Mr. Freeze and the Batcave to the check out counter. My son had no idea that we were picking up both of his presents that night.
At his birthday party, the Batcave naturally took center stage, but Mr. Freeze and his freezing chamber quickly found a spot on the outskirts of Batman's secret lair. My son, Batman, and Robin, battled with Mr. Freeze for a long time. It was fun just watching him come up with all of these outlandish scenarios for our heroes to get into.
The Mr. Freeze toy comes with a freeze gun backpack that attaches to the villain's back. The included freezing chamber features lever operated doors that open and close on any Imaginext mini action figure. Also included is a block of ice that fits over these figures once they've been frozen by vile Mr. Freeze.
I'm positive that Mr. Freeze won't have to face Batman and Robin alone for long. My son loves playing with these figures and while he already has a few Imaginext toys, none of them have featured Batman or any of his other favorite comic characters until now.
If you have youngsters or happen to be a big kid like me, check out the Imaginext DC Super Friends line of toys. They are wonderful toys to spark young imaginations.
