Real Heavy Man

This CD in musical circles is supposed to be Deep Purple's most reverred recording. Don't get me wrong, its quite good. However, I prefer Fireball and Machine Head a bit more.

One thing I must say is that this recording is clearly Deep Purple's heaviest recording. That opening track, Speed King is oh so loud and fast. I like the use of Little Richard lyrics. The best track on this is Child In Time. Love the build up to this one. Ian's vocalizing just rules and the solos between Blackmore and Lord are stupendous. The other tracks have fairly memorable moments. Truly a winner on all accounts.
