The Perfect Soundtrack For Marvel's Heavy Metal Hero

  • Apr 23, 2010
As others have already stated, this is not an AC/DC Greatest Hits package. It is a wonderful compilation of big hits and lesser known rockers from the Thunder from Down Under utilized in the upcoming Iron Man 2 film.

If you enjoy hard rock, you cannot go wrong with this album. Classic radio tunes like "Shoot To Thrill," "Have A Drink On Me," and "T.N.T." are here, as well as the legendary "Back In Black." Also included are lesser known rockers (especially to casual fans) like "Guns For Hire" and "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be."

Of course, the mandatory track from AC/DC featured here is "War Machine" from "Black Ice." With that title, you had to have that tune on this album!

The album blends both the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson fronted versions of the band perfectly, allowing both to shine without favoring one over the other. It gives casual fans a listen to both frontmen at their best.

If you're a fan of AC/DC and already own all of these tunes, get this soundtrack for the simple reason that it's an excellent compilation that you'll play over and over while on the road or just hanging out. If you need music to workout to, here's your soundtrack. If you're a fan of Iron Man, you'll be sure to agree that NO band fits Tony Stark better than AC/DC!

Highly recommended.
