An excellent and very comprehensive guide to Jordan

I traveled to Jordan in December/January 2008/2009. This site written by Ruth proved to be an invaluable resource for us and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Before we left I had a couple of queries that I directed to Ruth and she always responded quickly and with all the information that I asked for. From typical costs, to place to go, to scams to avoid, this book was my bible!

I especially recommend following her advice regarding guides in Wadi Rum if you want to visit this area. We used the guides she suggested and this is one experience that will stay with me forever. We were well looked after, we stayed in the desert and went climbing and scrambling amongst other activities.

Other information includes weather, maps, cultural rules and more. A must read!
