Lambert Has Potential

With "Kerosene," former "Nashville Star" Miranda Lambert has set the bar high for herself in contemporary Country. Having written or co-authored most of the tracks on this album, she has already set herself apart from many of her popular peers. Talented New Artist.

When I was in high school I didn't care for country music at all. Maybe it was because I come from a small rural community out in the middle of nowhere and the music reminded me too much of where I was. As the years have gone by I've slowly developed an appreciation for country music. I still don't like it as much as classic rock and roll or crazy children's music, but I can now say that there are some country songs that when I hear them I actually enjoy listening to them instead of cringing. … more
