Hawaii is a place with fierce locals. Try to test your talent against them and other daring aqua acrobats at the site of the unofficial Waterfall Leaping Olympics held daily at Kipu Falls. Don’t let the mosquitoes marauding your ears or the potential infection awaiting you after parasites from the murky water seep into your freshly obtained lacerations distract you. It may have been a painful, sugar cane stalk walk to this point and it’s time to prove your place in paradise. Remember the rope swing is optional. Pick your trick, plug your nose, and prepare to have your twirling, sunburned frame etched into local lore.
