I cheated on my Hairstylist and I will do it again!

I cheated on my hairstylist and I loved it. (I just hope he doesn't notice when I go to him for one of his fabulous haircuts)
Life gets busy and my hair was looking so blah. I tried making an appointment with my stylist for 2 weeks now, but schedules are not lining up and life got hectic...but that doesn't mean your hair has to look it!
My natural hair color is dark brown asian hair, not black (contrary to popular belief). My ends were still holding on to the light color of a previous dye job. I wanted to go back to my natural color but wanted it to have a little bit more of a richer color. I headed to my local target and looked at all the boxes in the hair color aisle. I have tried Feria, and all the glitzy ones before but I've done the burgnundy and auburn thing before, which looked great but needs more upkeep, and right now I am in a low-maintenance phase of my life.
I then saw a less glamorous box in plain packaging called L'oreal Excellence Creme and settled on a 4AR Dark Chocolate Brown. I wanted dk brown but wanted some warmth.
My hair is already somewhat damaged and this box comes with a little tube of cream that you put on your ends to protect it. I then mixed up the product and didn't bother to separate my hair into sections (too much work!), and started applying the color to my hair (ends first, cuz it was the lightest). I kind of did this in a chaotic way and hoped for the best.
The conditioner that it came with is the bomb. It made my hair silky and shiny. It looks more healthier now~glossy and rich.
The color came out wonderfully. Dark brown, like velvet chocolate. LOOOVED it!
Less than $10 and 30 min of your time. Hair color at a salon would set you back $100 or more! Now go try it and cheat on your stylists!
