Let's Move! is a wonderful and well-intentioned initiative by Michelle Obama, however, its inception was not met without trepidation. Funding the program by cutting the food stamps program is hardly the most ideal solution, but may be worth the benefits of a program such as Let's Move! In order to enact change, the government has to make tough decisions, but also take risks. Hopefully families will learn to encourage their children to eat healthier and LESS (for the average American family consumes far more than is necessary), rendering the dependency on food stamps and other government-funded aid less dire.
