Sometimes you just need a real home-cooked dinner with butter as the fore front ingredient! And what better way to get that then from a blast from the past at Lucky's Diner. This 50's diner is located in uptown Dallas and the eaters here are all about the SOUL FOOD.
Lucky's menu contains fresh salads, breakfast goodies, and hearty dinners. And if you can't decide what to eat, the wait staff is amazing. And I mean amazing. They are super nice and willing to give you a couple of pointers to help you satisfy those absurd cravings. And they were never wrong. They told us to try the squash casserole, spinach casserole, yams, burgers...and all LYD could do was say "YES, Please!!" The homemade meatloaf was amazing. If you miss grandma's hearty home cooking try the meatloaf. Its just like grandma used to make. And make sure you end the meal with one of their mouth watering, so tasty, so delish cobblers. They are literally to die for. Food there is definitely two thumbs up!!
LYD Recommendation: Get down and dirty with some good ol' home cooked meatloaf and cobbler!!
