Makeup Art Cosmetics, better known as MAC, was started in 1984 by Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo who realized the need for makeup to hold through intense lighting at fashion photography shoots. They decided to develop this product which would be All for ages, all races, all sexes - which was made into their motto.
Currently MAC makeup is sold all over the world in stand alone boutiques and at many department store such as Macy's, Nordstroms and Dillards (in the United States).
MAC regularly releases speciallimited edition collections and also creates some of the most popular cosmetics products around.
